Astrology Sun Signs - Meet Scorpio - October 24th - November 22nd

And like the 'secret agent man' of the song, Scorpio also travels incogneto, and for the most part, he succeeds in staying under the radar. However, there is one way to unmask these secret agents of the Zodaic. To quote from another hub, "Look deep into my eyes..." oh, sorry, not mine...his!

As I was saying...check out the eyes - doesn't matter if they are blue, green, black or brown - if he is a Scorpio, he will return your gaze with such unblinking intensity, it seems to pierce through to your soul yet lull your senses with an almost hypnotic quality. The only way to break the spell is to look away first.

My next tip is to listen to his voice. It can be deceptively smooth, unless, that is, he is angry - then it slices and dices! Scorpio knows exactly who, and what he is, and nothing anyone can say will change that. He seems impervious to insults, like water and ducks - and compliments will only confirm what he already knows. Scorpio is the calmest, coolest sign of the Zodiac - just ask him if you don't believe me...

Pluto ruled people generally have very powerful physiques. Their features tend to be heavy or sharp, as if outlined in pen. They usually have rather prominent noses - decidedly hawk-like, perched under heavy brows. This sign spawns more than their quota of redheads, accompanied by the trademark pale, translucent skin colouring. Their outside persona may look cool and tranquil, but their inner nature burns with molten intensity.

And while we are on the subject of inside and out - this Sun sign has mastered the art of camouflage. By this I mean they are masters of controlling their emotions and movements. You rarely, if ever, catch a Scorpio with anything other than a bland expression on his face, regardless of his mood, and his movements mirror his features - practiced, never jerky or sudden. Pluto born smiles are rare, but when you do glimpse one you can be sure it is genuine. Scorpio prefers to delve into your motives and reasons, all the while remaining mysteriously inscrutable.

Don't get me wrong here - this description does not mean that all Scorpio people mimic robots. I have seen many Pluto sons and daughters who delight in laughing, and are the life of the party - but don't be deceived, they are just more accomplished actors than some of their brethren.

If you happen to be the shy, retiring type, steer clear of asking for the Pluto Born's opinion or advice. You will get the naked truth, and nothing but the truth "So help you God." I think the only other Sun sign that could top Scorpio's brutal honesty is Sagittarius - but that is another hub...

You won't find Scorpio telling an untruth to score brownie points with his 'crib', that's just not his style. However, when he does pay you a compliment, you can be sure it's the real deal, and don't believe all the rumors that Scorpio is selfish. He has been known to move heaven and earth when it comes to helping his friends.

I used to drive an older Ford van (with Armstrong steering,) that needed repairs - and my Scorpio friend rolled up his sleeves and did the repairs for me - all for the price of a home cooked meal.

Scorpio will naturally attract loyal friends, or spiteful enemies. There is no middle ground with these people. If you fall into the latter category, it would be wise to remember that Pluto rules nuclear power...

Yet there is a haunting quality of sweetness with these people - they can be tender and sweet, and they often have a gentle sympathy for the sick. Scorpio has the choice of two roads to take with regards to his Sun sign. He can imitate the scorpion and sting for the sake of stinging, or follow the path of his other avatar - the phoenix, and rise from the ashes of complete destruction to be reborn. The awesome power of Pluto resides deep within all those born of this sign, giving them an inner strength to lift them above the circumstances that surround them. Typical Scorpio's have no fear - bravely facing anything life throws at them with confidence and an inner faith to overcome it. They are intensely loyal and will brave death itself to drag a buddy to safety.

Scorpio will never forget a kindness, and it's richly rewarded - conversely, the opposite is also true. He will remember every injustice visited upon him and his own, and woe betide the offender. Scorpio will either annihilate his enemy so that he will never hurt anyone again, or, like the scorpion, sting and sting again. He is not content to merely even the score. He will lie awake at nights devising ways to get even.

Scorpio health mimics his nature - he can destroy himself with excess, or build himself back up from the brink of destruction. and of course, they know better than any doctor or nurse! Scorpio is intensely curious about life and death, religion, and sex, yet he is also heroic, and dedicated to family, love and children. His brilliant mind is fascinated with the ancient mysteries.

One of the strangest patterns that follows Scorpio, is the death of a relative in the family within either a year before or after the birth of a Scorpio, and when a Scorpio dies, there will be a birth in the family either a year before or after.
