Gifts For Men - Great Gift Ideas For The Man In Your Life

I don't know about you, but any time a special day comes around, like birthdays, anniversaries, Valentines Day, or Christmas, my mind starts working overtime. What to buy? What unique gift idea am I going to find that will top the gift I gave last year? What special men's gifts are out there that my man wants, or needs, that are in my budget?

I must confess, I go through this process every year! I know, it's much easier to buy ahead of time and squirrel my purchases away, but to be honest, I don't always have the finances to do that. So...here I am again...faced with the same decisions I swore I wouldn't have this year!

After long deliberation, I finally came up with a few ideas for those personalized gifts that mean you spent time searching for the perfect fit. These are also very budget friendly, so your pocketbook won't feel pinched - leaving you a little left over to treat yourself for all that hard work you did selecting and deciding!

If that special someone on your list travels a lot, then this little item might be right up your alley! It is always difficult to find just the right accessory bag to put your shaving gear and shampoo in. This one is too big, this one is too small - well maybe this one will be just right!

What about luggage? I can just bet your fella doesn't have this next little gem in his closet!

Now you might be thinking that men aren't into cats - but I can assure you, not only do real men like fuzzy little critters, your man would be the only one who wouldn't have to tie a ribbon around his suitcase so he could find it on the luggage carosel at the airport!

I have to say I got really lucky this year...there is no way I could come up with all these ideas on my own! I always have trouble thinking of new and unique gift ideas for the men in my life. Another big stumbling block for me are gifts for my parents, so I was thrilled when RedElf published a hub on great gifts for seniors, but I digress!

I would like to point out that even if your fella isn't a big travel buff, he will still enjoy getting a gift from these picks...I don't know any man who doesn't like to be prepared. My man isn't terribly happy about flying anywhere, but that doesn't mean he would turn his nose up at some of these great ideas. There is just something about knowing that the man in your life is ready for that impromptu trip and has everything under control.

Who says men don't like getting gift baskets? I have watched with anticipation while my fella opened a gift basket I made up for him, and he was really thrilled by the selection of goodies!

There are so many different types of baskets available, for the food critic or BBQ chef extraordinaire, or the closet wine connoisseur, or maybe something special you make up yourself for your movie or novel buff. Regardless of your man's interests, I'm sure a gift basket would be a great gift idea.

And of course, what goes well with BBQ gift baskets? BBQ utensils! Almost every man I have ever met has a fascination with grilling! I'm sorry ladies, but for me at least, this is a man's domain!

Fortunately, I have managed to find a wonderful selection of grilling implements that are just waiting to put a smile of joy on the BBQ specialist in your life.

Imagine his surprise when he opens his gift Christmas day, and sees one of these amazing sets...I would be careful though ladies, make sure the turkey is already in the oven, or you might be in for a new holiday dinner! BBQ turkey anyone?

Now I know most men have a special rapport with their tool sets, but there is always room for one more! Or if there isn't room in his tool chest, then perhaps a larger one might be in order for the holidays?

After all...you can't have enough tools!

Ok ladies, even men need to have stinkies! My favorite time in the morning is after my man has showered and is ready for the day - my goodness but he smells wonderful!

This year, my son is buying shower and shave gels for gift giving. Not only are they not overly expensive, they are practical and smell great!

News Flash - Men have sensitive skin too! One of the most overlooked gifts for men is moisturizer. Another is hair and body wash.

Both of these products make great stocking stuffers, or that all important gift from a son or daughter.

I'm sorry - I had to add this selection. Being a chocoholic, no hub on gift giving is complete without some type of sinfully delicious confections!

After all, it is the season to be jolly...and what better way to share the joy than to give your sweetie something sweet?

I know I would be terribly disappointed if my Christmas stocking didn't have some type of melt in your mouth goodies to share. But this isn't about me...

So spread a little joy this season, and give the man in your life a reason to use that gym membership...besides, excercise is always best when shared!

Nothing says cuddle better than a nice, warm, cozy sweater or hoody. Once worn by that special person in your life, things will never be the same...the huggable, cuddle factor will shoot through the roof! So if your man doesn't always remember to instigate some snuggle time, this gift is a must have!

I can remember my father opening his gifts from us, and every single year he was the lucky recipient of a wonderful new tie! I was always thrilled that he was so excited to receive such a thoughtful and much needed present.

Something else that was always on the much appreciated and needed list was underwear.

Not that my father wore boxers, being a fruit of the loom man himself, but I know Santa is going to be leaving a couple of pairs of these in a stocking that's been hung by the chimney with care...

(...and the satin ones are also a great gift for the ladies...)

My dad was lucky to have three children - and every year, each one of us would gift him with a necessary article of clothing - shirt, socks, underwear or a tie, ensuring that he would be the best dressed dad in the New Year!

In my line of work, the tools that I need to do my job include steel-toed boots, high visability clothing, all weather gear and a great pair of gloves. Not unlike the selection here...although without the high visability thing going on!

Not just those who enjoy hiking will find these next selections useful - I certainly could have used a pair of these thermal leggings the last couple of days! As a matter of fact I might just gift myself with a pair of these...

I can't say I own a pair of thermal drawers, but it might not be a bad idea...and I definitely like the last selection.

You know, the more I think about it, the more I'm inclined to skip the giving part and keep these cozy undergarments for those cold, wet days on the road...now if they only had socks to match...
